Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL Duties AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

• Reads, customer Delivery Pick order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Marks materials with identifying information. Special Customer labels
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Uses computer and/ RF scanner to enter records.
• Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
• Prepares parcels for shipping. Stage Pallets
• Performs cycle counts.QualificationsMNIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Minimum of 1 year experience driving a Picker or Reach Truck
  3. Able to lift 10-45 lbs on a regular basis
  4. Willing to work at heights of 25 feet or more while secured with a harness
  5. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.Job is Located in South McAllen
     Shifts available are the following:
     1st shift(8am-4:30pm) payrate is 14/hr
     2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) payrate is 15/hr
